Homework assignments
I will give 10 homework assigments. Only the best 8 out of 10 will count.
Rules

No late submissions, no extensions
(except justified medical reasons).

Each assignment must be submitted at the beginning of class

Please, submit a hard copy (no electronic copy)

You must pair up with a partner.

10% bonus for typesetting homework in laTeX

mac(.tex), mathmac(.tex) and prooftree(.tex)
as well as the Latex source
for the assignments.

Review Sessions, Problem Sessions, Solutions
Written solutions for all homework problems, the midterms,
and the final, will be provided.
I will hold review sessions before the two midterms and
the final exam. I may also hold a few problem sessions to discuss
the solutions of the homework.
It is forbidden to use solutions of problems posted on the internet.
If you use resources other than the textbook (or the recommended textbooks)
or the class notes, you must cite these references.
