Project Checkpoint #2: Rough draft
For your second project checkpoint, you will need to show a "rough draft" of functionality to your project mentor. This means that you should be able to run your code and make it do (most of) what you have set out to do in your project proposal and in the test cases for your first checkpoint.
At this stage, your mentor will give you feedback about your design, so be prepared to do a code walk through. You won't be able to cover all of your code during the minute checkpoint, so make sure you think ahead of time about what parts would be most useful to discuss.
The project rubric lists what we will be looking for in the final version of your project. This checkpoint is your opportunity to ask your mentor how to improve your project according to this rubric.
This checkpoint is worth 10 points of your final project grade. If you don't have a rough draft of your project finished by this point, you will lose points.
