There are 7 homework assignments and 1 project in this course. We will do homework 1-4 on Amazon EC2 A1 instances. Homework 5-7 will be on Amazon EC2 F1 instances. For the project, we will use Ultra96 embedded FPGAs, which we will ship to you before we get there.
Warning
Make sure to stop your Amazon instances! We only have $150 of credits and we need it to last through Homework 7. You may need to take a long break during a homework, or you might take longer to read about something on google/stackoverflow; remember to stop your instance and restart it when you are ready to continue.
Tip
As mentioned in the course homepage, we will award bonus points for student-developed instructions and tutorials on how to solve common tasks that arise for the tools. If you see an error/typo or have a suggestion for the instructions, feel free to open an issue or a pull request using the github button on top (each page has its own button).
