The world surrounding us is full of bugs and the job of engineers, along with making new innovations and technology, is to correct them to make things easier to use.

 

MEAM 101 professor Jonathan Fiene also has the same idea and hence for our first project in this course, the class was split up into groups and each one of them was assigned to establish a list of all the bugs that they could notice. Once a bug list was made, we had to choose one bug and propose a solution for it by making a prototype or  sketch models and explain our solution.

 

Our group set up a list of twelve bugs, from flaws in earphones to dials of watches. However, we thought that the most problematic and one that could help the common man the most was the drink holder.
