Surface Roughness + Index Grading

1. Improvement by incorporating surface roughness and index grading

• As shown below, the MSE is improved from 14.72 (cauchy model only) to 5.165 (cauchy model + surface roughness + index grading).

2. Combination of srough.mat and SimpleIndexGrading.mat

1. Add srough.mat on the Simple Index Grading layer, as shown in Index Grading.

3. Normal Fit

1. Right-click on the Fit window to pop-up the menu.

2. Click the "Normal Fit" in the Fit window.

3. The MSE is improved to be 5.165.

• The fit box of Exponent in Simple Graded Index layer was checked. However, this effect was minor.
