languages. PLDI 2002 will be held in Berlin, Germany, from 17 to 19
June, 2002. Co-located with it will be another 4 conferences and
workshops: MSP 2002, LCTES/SCOPES 2002, CD 2002, and ISMM 2002.
This year's PLDI conference features
- 28 contributed presentations (selected from around 170 submissions)
- 2 invited presentations given by the winners of the
ACM SIGPLAN Programming Languages Achievement Award
in 2001 and 2002. The winner of the 2001 award is
Professor Robin Milner, Univ. of Cambridge, UK. The winner
of the 2002 award will be proclaimed at PLDI 2002.
- 7 Tutorials in two Tracks: "On Teaching Compilers" and
"On Building Compilers"
- 1 Student Research Forum with contributed poster presentations
- 2 Birds-of-a-Feather Sessions on ORC and Jikes RVM
