Some tips on circuit building and debugging can be found here.
Breadboard and protoboards can be found at location 278.
Electronic components are available at Location 283.
Banana Cables (Location 272)
Cables with male banana plugs for interfacing with multimeters and power supplies. The rear of each plug is designed to accept an additional plug either transversely or axially.
Alligator Clips (Location 283)
Alligator clips can be attached to a banana plug and then clipped onto wires.
Alligator Cable (Location 272)
These cables have mini-alligator clips on either side. Great for quickly connecting two breadboards together.
BNC Cable (Location 277)
Coaxial cable with BNC interface. The center terminal carries the signal while the outer ring is common or ground. Common cable used for oscilloscopes and function generators.
BNC to Alligator Cable (Location 277)
One end of the cable has a BNC connector and the other has mini-alligator clips. Easily connects between a function generator or oscilloscope to your circuit. When using with an oscilloscope or function generator, the black lead MUST be connected to ground/common.
T-Connector (Location 277)
T-connector with one female end to interface normally with a function generator, and two male ends. One male end normally connects to a BNC cable which goes directly
to Channel 1/A of an oscilloscope to directly see the input. The other end would go to a BNC-Alligator cable to interface with a circuit.
Oscilloscope Probe (Location 277)
One end of this cable is a BNC connector to connect to an osciloscope. The other end has a mini-alligator clip for common/ground and a mini-clip probe for the signal. Most probes have the option to switch between a 1x or 10x attentuation.
BNC to Test-clip Cable (Please request)
One end of the cable has a BNC connector and the other has small test clips. Easily connects between a function generator or oscilloscope to your circuit. When using with an oscilloscope or function generator, the black lead MUST be connected to ground/common.
Banana-Test Probe (Please request)
One end of this cable is a banna plug and the other is a probe (metal point). Normally used with multimeters to test specific points. Note that a banana cable with alligator-clip clipped to a wire can serve the same purpose.
