Research Projects
I am co-advised by Dr. Diamond and Dr. Brass in the Department of Medicine to study the role molecular transport in regulating hemostatic thrombus formation. I design fluorescent biosensors that can measure intrathrombus transport and various agonist activity levels that can be monitored using intravital microscopy of mouse blood vessels. Examining these biosensors in various mutant mice allows us to understand more fully how hemostasis is regulated, and identify novel targets for regulating the clotting response.
